Frequently asked questions
Select EST (UTC-5) and CET (UTC+1). Business hour overlap is typically 9:00-11:00 AM EST (3:00-5:00 PM CET) - a 2-3 hour window depending on exact offsets.
Yes. Select a third zone from the dropdown. The planner finds the intersection of all three business hour windows. With US, Europe and Asia, the overlap is often zero.
For zones far apart (e.g., PST and JST have a 17-hour gap), there is no overlap during standard 9-5 hours. Someone will need to take an early morning or late evening call.
Yes. The default is 9-17 (9 AM - 5 PM) but you can set custom hours. Some teams use 8-18 or 7-19 to create wider overlap windows.
When DST shifts occur (March/November in the US, March/October in Europe), offsets change by 1 hour. For 2-3 weeks when US and EU switch on different dates, the normal gap shifts. Select the current offset for each zone.
