Break it into easy chunks. For 15% of $80: 10% = $8, 5% = $4, so 15% = $12. For 20%, find 10% and double it. For 25%, divide by 4.
Percent means 'per hundred.' 20% means 20 per 100, or 20/100, which simplifies to 0.20. To convert a percentage to a decimal, divide by 100 (move decimal two places left).
